善緣寶鼎設(shè)計(jì)為三足鼎立造型，鼎高７．１５８米，直徑５．８米，重９０噸。大鼎分３層，鼎耳高１．８４２米，鼎身高３．６８米，鼎足高１．４８米。鼎身一周分８格，其中６格分別為四教名山實(shí)景圖、西來寺全景圖及募鼎圖，另兩格分別銘有“西來古寺”和“善緣寶鼎”八個(gè)大字。

首先，上海青銅鼎，我們需要知道鼎的來歷和作用，鼎開始的時(shí)候是古代的烹飪器具之一，相當(dāng)于現(xiàn)在的鍋，用以燉煮和盛放魚肉。鼎還被視為傳國(guó)重器、---權(quán)力和象征，“鼎”字也被賦予“顯赫”、“ -”、“盛大”等引申意義，如：一言九鼎、大名鼎鼎、鼎盛時(shí)期、鼎力相助，等等。
