維氏硬度、布氏硬度、洛氏硬度
金屬的硬度，是金屬材料抵抗局部變形，---是塑性變形、劃痕或壓痕的能力，是衡量金屬軟硬的指標(biāo)，由于硬度能靈敏的反映金屬材料在化學(xué)成分、金相組織、熱處理工藝及冷加工變形等方面的差異，因此在生產(chǎn)、科研和工程中得到廣泛的應(yīng)用。硬度試驗(yàn)簡(jiǎn)單易行，很適合成批零件檢驗(yàn)和機(jī)械裝備及零部件的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)檢驗(yàn)。由于硬度試驗(yàn)僅在金屬表面局部產(chǎn)生很小的壓痕，故而硬度試驗(yàn)還可以檢查金屬材料表面層的情況，如脫碳或增碳、表面淬火以及化學(xué)熱處理后的表面硬度等。
